Description

This pickle margarita puts a briny, refreshing twist on the classic cocktail. Made with tequila, lime, and dill pickle juice, it’s bold, savory, and surprisingly addictive—perfect for adventurous cocktail lovers.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 oz tequila (blanco or reposado)

  • 1 oz fresh lime juice

  • 1 oz pickle juice (preferably from dill pickles)

  • ½ oz triple sec or orange liqueur

  • ½ oz simple syrup (optional, to balance tartness)

  • Ice cubes

  • Coarse salt or Tajín (for rimming the glass)

  • Pickle slice or lime wedge (for garnish)

Instructions

Rub the rim of a glass with lime juice, then dip it into salt or Tajín to coat.

In a cocktail shaker, mix tequila, lime juice, pickle juice, triple sec, and simple syrup.

Add ice to the shaker and shake well for around 15 seconds.

Strain the drink into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.

Top it off with a pickle slice or lime wedge as a garnish, and serve right away.
