Juicy chicken breasts seared to perfection and coated in a sweet, savory honey garlic sauce. This easy weeknight dinner is bursting with flavor and made with just a few ingredients.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
- 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons honey (preferably local)
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons flour
Instructions

Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt and pepper. Lightly coat each piece with flour.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat.

Add the chicken and cook for 5 to 6 minutes per side until golden and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt the remaining tablespoon of butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.

Stir in the honey and soy sauce, scraping up any bits from the pan.

Return the chicken to the skillet and coat well in the sauce. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to thicken slightly.

Serve hot with a drizzle of sauce over rice, veggies, or mashed potatoes.
