8 oz (225g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped

1 cup heavy cream

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

Optional dippers: strawberries, bananas, pineapple, marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake cubes
Instructions

Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Do not boil.

Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Let sit 1–2 minutes.

Stir gently until smooth and fully melted.

Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Pour into a fondue pot or serving bowl and serve with dippers.
