Description

With just a few ingredients such as chocolate, cream and a touch of vanilla, you can create a rich, velvety dip perfect for fruits, marshmallows, pretzels or cake. Prep takes only 5 minutes and it is ready to enjoy in under 10 minutes. It is perfect for parties, cozy nights or a special treat anytime.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz (225g) semi-sweet or dark chocolate, chopped

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional dippers: strawberries, bananas, pineapple, marshmallows, pretzels, pound cake cubes


Instructions

  • Heat the cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until it begins to simmer. Do not boil.

  • Remove from heat and add the chopped chocolate. Let sit 1–2 minutes.

  • Stir gently until smooth and fully melted.

  • Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

  • Pour into a fondue pot or serving bowl and serve with dippers.
