Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef

  • 1 medium onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tbsp butter

  • 3 tbsp all-purpose flour

  • 4 cups chicken or beef broth

  • 1 ½ cups milk or half-and-half

  • 3 medium potatoes, diced

  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 1 tsp paprika (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the beef with onions and garlic in a large pot; drain fat.
