Description

This buffalo chicken dip pasta is a beginner friendly, creamy, and comforting dish inspired by classic buffalo chicken dip. It is easy to make, full of bold flavor, and perfect for weeknight dinners or casual gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 12 ounces short pasta

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded or diced

  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened

  • 1 third cup buffalo sauce, adjust to taste

  • 1 cup shredded cheese

  • 1 half cup milk or light cream

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

  • Salt to taste

  • Black pepper to taste

  • Optional green onions or ranch dressing for topping


Instructions

  • Cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to package directions. Drain and set aside, saving some pasta water.

  • In a large skillet over medium heat, warm the cooked chicken.

  • Lower the heat and add the cream cheese, stirring until melted.

  • Pour in the buffalo sauce and milk, stirring until smooth.

  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

  • Stir in the shredded cheese until melted and creamy.

  • Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated.

  • Use reserved pasta water if needed to loosen the sauce.
