Air Fryer Banana Chips
Description
Make crispy, healthy Air Fryer Banana Chips with just a few simple ingredients! A naturally sweet, oil-free snack that’s perfect for lunchboxes, cravings, or guilt-free munching.
Ingredients
-
2 ripe but firm bananas (not overly soft)
-
1 teaspoon lemon juice
-
Optional: pinch of salt or ground cinnamon
-
Light cooking spray (optional for extra crispiness)
Instructions
Peel the bananas and slice them into thin, even rounds (about ⅛ inch thick). Try to keep all slices uniform for even cooking.
To prevent browning and help them crisp up, mix lemon juice with a few tablespoons of water and gently toss banana slices in the mixture. Pat dry with a paper towel.
Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and preheat for 2–3 minutes.
Lightly spray the air fryer basket with oil or line it with parchment paper with holes. Place banana slices in a single layer (don’t overlap).
Air fry for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through. Keep a close eye on them in the last few minutes — they can go from golden to burnt quickly!
Remove and let cool on a wire rack. Chips will continue to crisp as they cool.
